Job Description

  • You will be responsible for Avamar Administrator and Upgradation.
What will you do.
  • You should have experience on backup product Avamar.
  • Shown knowledge on UNIX/Linux/Windows.
  • Backup software integration with most commonly used applications in industry (e.g. Backing up MS Exchange, SQL, Oracle, Lotus Notes, VMWare)
  • Good Knowledge on any backup/restore skills.
  • Understanding of Backup and recovery Concepts and troubleshooting.
  • You should demonstrate specific knowledge of EMC products Exhibit a positive attitude to customers and other employees
  • Provide high availability(24x7).

  • Minimum 7+years of experience in AVAMAR Backup.
  • Basic Knowledge of Networking.
  • Knowledge on any of the database will be beneficial.
  • Knowledge on Device or Storage Boxes will also be beneficial .
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Provide technical support for customer. Own and action requests for service, implementing changes and resolving assigned problems (may involve some after hours and weekend work).
  • Provide 24x7 after hours on-call support as required for products supported by the team
  • Personal compliance and ownership on security, audit and systems integrity posture
  • Highlight areas for improvement in current processes, and implement improvements
