Role Description
Alternate Investment Solutions production Support is seeking smart motivated individual to take the role of level 1 support of applications related to hedge funds specific for Investors Share holders services operations.
Mandatory Technical/Domain Skills
The Support team is responsible for applications within State Street that records Investor information and transactions, and automates fee calculations for NAV Accounting
The role will involve dealing with daily queries from all departments within the Alternate Investment Division, and either providing resolution, or escalating the issues to the Development Team from Nav process and steps across various Dept to produce a Nav.
The candidate may also work with the Business and Technology teams to help define the requirements for new projects and verify that the delivered functionality meets those requirements
A successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop an in-depth knowledge of Hedge fund and Private Equity structures
Experience in Incident Management , conducting triage calls , attending command centre calls to understand technical constraints of live application / service when articulating solutions and Business workarounds to impacted Business areas.
Plan and manage the daily tickets, processes and tasks and the effective utilization of resources with the support of the Manager
Tools /Good To have Skills
Basic SQl Knowledge
Ticketing tools (ISM/Jira/TSF/SNOW ) any other
Business Analysis experience working with Business and Developers on new development, enhancements or fixes for the functionality or reports within the Applications, ability to write stories, acceptance criteria, test and provide feedback to the developers.
