Job Description

    .Responsible for supporting Lead Panel engineer for smooth and safe operation of the OT Panel through DCS control system. Assisting Lead Panel engineer in preparing reports, reviewing SOPs , Work Instructions , OMPRO and override systems.
    1. 100% compliance of procedures and standards.
    2. Compliance of COW / PTW system.
    3. Ensure proper operation of the system in achieving daily production; Responsible for start-up, shutdown, handling upset and emergencies.
    4. Communicate with the Field Engineer / Lead Panel Engineer / Shift engineer for smooth & safe operation of plant with the identification & mitigation of associated risks
    5. Responsible for trouble shooting and minimizing downtime; Responsible for preparing permits and certificates as required.
    6. Accountable for proper recording/logging of information/data from operating system.
    7. Responsible for highlighting process deviations & issues and communicating the right information to the concerned; Responsible for proper coordination with the team members related to the job which includes field engineers and Shift engineers.
    8. Prepare and update SOPs, Checklists, Operational Logbooks etc.
    9. Prepare and update procedures for equipment isolation and maintenance.
    10. Update Interlock bypass document on daily basis and highlight deviations for corrective actions
    11. Execute HOTO through OMPRO
    12. Monitor alarms and assist in alarm rationalisation.
    13. Participation in mock drills.
    Education Requirement :Engineering Degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineer (or) Diploma in Mechanical / Chemical with Engineering Degree from Reputed InstitutionsExperience Requirement :Specific Exp: 2 years for Graduates with Engineering Degree in relevant field Overall Exp : 3 - 5 YearsSkills & Competencies :
    1. Should have skill on DCS operation.
    2. Should have the knowledge of Oil & Gas operations.
    3. Should have knowledge of COW / PTW systems
    4. Should have good communication skills and interact with multidisciplinary teams.
    5. OMS awareness and implementation of critical / relevant sub elements
