• The ServiceNow Admin team is responsible for Service Management across the Franklin Templeton enterprise
• We deliver value add solutions to our internal teams that allow them more time to focus on supporting our external customers and shareholders; increasing our competitive advantage in the marketplace. We focus on technologies that facilitate engagement, collaboration, user experience and mobility.
• Continuously improve our service delivery to internal customers and automate their service and product delivery; with special focus placed on continued improvement of user experience.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of a ServiceNow Engineer

• Participate in service planning & delivery execution, with each engineer being assigned specific areas of responsibility from a roadmap perspective they are expected to drive forward.
• Implement service changes, workflow automations, integrations and lead operational support
• Enable visibility into service metrics & transparency through reporting dashboards
• Configure out of the box workflows and create/maintain custom workflows. Develop custom workflows utilizing modern web technologies.
• Integrate ServiceNow applications with 3rd party partners.
• Rapidly prototype new solutions. Design and develop solutions that leverage ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, Discovery, CMDB, Knowledge, and ITOM using configuration and custom Javascript.
• Assisting in the design and build of ServiceNow Applications and integration to other applications and platforms; including architecture, languages, best practices and methodologies in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Developing user friendly catalog items with experience writing orchestration workflows such as Content Management, Web Services
• Integrate data from multiple data sources into a unified CMDB, ensuring data quality and integrity are maintained.
• Implementation of new functionality across the ServiceNow product offering
• Consolidation of ServiceNow instances resulting from acquisitions.
• Cloud Request Mgmt Automation
• Platform Upgrade & New Capability Enablement: Walk-Up Experience, Agent Intelligence and Virtual Agent
• User experience enhancements; redefining our service portal, ensuring our service catalog is efficient and uses easily find the services they need
• Implement service expansion
• Enhanced CMDB accuracy and reportability
• Enable visibility into service metrics & transparency through reporting dashboards

, *What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful

• Bachelors Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years working on ServiceNow platform in a development capacity with experience in implementation and customization of core applications including Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Configuration Management, Service Catalog, HR, Facilities and Service Portal and integrating ServiceNow with third-party software using REST/SOAP including scripted web services, MID servers.
• Experience in design and implementation within a complex global environment.
• Strong knowledge in Javascript, Ajax, HTML, CSS, Jelly, XML, Webservices, Angular JS, HTML5., Bootstrap, jQuery
• Advanced scripting knowledge in business rules, UI pages, UI actions, Workflows, ACLs, Script Includes, Notifications
• Experience in Service Portal and building custom widgets using AngularJS
• Certifications in ServiceNow (Administration, Scripting, etc., is a plus)
• Experience using Workflow Editor to configure workflows.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer and/or ServiceNow Certified System Administrator a plus
