Job Description

    Engineering ManageRAbout the role (ENGINEERING MANAGER)To maintain ground-breaking propositions for our digital product suite and support the next wave of innovation, we are looking for an engineering manager who is passionate about helping on translating strategies and requirements into actionable items and coordinate a technical team from organization perspective to successful deliver.As Engineering manager, you will be working closely with Product Managers and Product Owners to manage one entire cross-functional team delivering cloud-based software in the Data & Analytics space based on modern best practice and technologies.Your main responsibilities:
    • Work closely with the product teams (Product Manager, Product Owner(s), Business Analysts, Software Architects, Developers, and other collaborators) to deliver functional and non-functional requirements.
    • Work closely with technical team while crafting technical solutions supporting in coordination, consolidation and execution plan.
    • Coordinate, lead and facilitate the Scrum process and ceremonies; daily stand-ups, demos, retrospectives, grooming and planning meetings, etc. with one or multiple Scrum teams.
    • Resolve team impediments with the Scrum Masters to increase the efficiency of the product-centric delivery.
    • Track and point out delivery risks and help to mitigate such risks and dependencies.
    • Mentor teams in Agile practices and demeanor in collaboration with agile coaches.
    • Drive continuous improvements via Inspect and Adapt workshops.
    • Identify gaps in the process and team abilities to help drive the transition of the organization to a scalable, agile, and product-centric delivery model.
    Required skills and qualifications:
    • 4+ years in a technical role: SW engineer and/or Solution Architect and/or Data Engineer and/or Data Architect
    • Direct experience in data & analytics big data project will be an added advantage
    • 4+ years as engineering manager or technical project manager having worked with Agile principles and rituals
    • University degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or comparable education/equivalent experience)
    • You have a strong technical background with a career journey which encompasses data & analytics, multi-cloud software architecture and patterns
    • Emotional intelligence and the ability to influence behavior among your peers and the development teams
    • Personal demeanor that is in sync with the following values: proactivity, ownership and continuous improvement
    • PMP certification, SAFe certification and/or Scrum Master Certification is strongly preferred
    • Proficient in English (written and spoken).
