Job Description

    Executive Sample Collections1. Responsible for Cord Blood, Placental Tissues, PNS,NBS & COVID collections.2. To ensure the labeling, traceability of donors by verifying the donor name and if any adverse reactions to be informed to regional paramedic heads/Laboratory Director/Medical Director and comply with the adverse reaction procedure.3. To verify thecollectionmaterials/reagents within the expiry.4. To perform the recovery / acquisition/donation coordination of placental tissue membranes in aseptic conditions after receiving appropriate informed consent and fulfillment of relevant documentation.5. The informed consent coordinator should present the do not thedescriptionof the scope, use, and any risk or benefit to her/him for the proposed donation and answer all the questions asked by the donor and receive the accurate answers with a signed record of the informed consent.6. To ensure the chain of custody of the samples to maintain its integrity, traceability and quality of the product by handing over the samples within stipulated time.7. Collections of maternal blood/allied products.8. Follow prescribed standards and procedures forcollection.9. To know the medical history, social behavior of donors and determine the increased risk for individuals for relevant communicable disease agents or diseases.10. Coordination for field correction, notification activities as instructed by the medical director/laboratory director.11. To ensure that thecollection/recovery/acquisitions are performed under the controlled environment for the purpose of minimizing the contamination or cross contamination of products.12. To be available on call if required at any hospital to collect thesampleat the time of delivery.13. To involve and coordinate for Cash/Cheque pickups and report dispatches.14. To maintain confidentiality and comply with information security & QMS policy/ procedures15. Coordination for re-sampling incase of insufficient and responsible for the relevant data information requested from the lab.16. Any other work assigned by superior from time to time.
