Job Description

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Design, implement and maintain security /infrastructure requirements for development / testing environment, OR design, implement and keep technology stack of relevant products for development, test and production use support OR manage application infrastructure including application infrastructure design input, application installation and deployment and operational management of the application infrastructure. Ensure timely delivery of solutions required for new projects and high integration of components. Develop and enhance automated processes to release new solutions into the live environment or create reusable and automation frameworks. Ensure only authorized changes are made for all assets within enterprise IT environment; Ensure creation of detailed solution/ service design matching high level designs and functional specifications to meet quality and performance requirements and ensure the quality, cost and timelines of feature and product implementations OR install applications per approved designs and operationally manage application infrastructure, taking preventive measures to avoid unplanned outages. Responsible for the end-to-end CTMS data quality and accuracy at the trial level single Point of Contact to the CTT; Give direction and further optimize the process to set up trials in CTMS according to the protocol/data collection specifications and timelines Identify opportunities and needs for system improvements, propose adequate options and scenarios for modified work flows, coordinate with the CTMS owner to implement IT solutions in support of new workflows Work with GDO line functions to identify relevant function specific CTMS needs, coordinate with CTMS owner the implementation, support related training measures; Evaluate available program/trial status reports, liaise with the appropriate line functions to identify additional line function specific needs, cooperate with Development Operations Reporting & Analysis and CTMS owner to develop, program and implement new and/or amended reports Develop training contents and materials for CTMS users in conjunction with training partners; Establish an effective knowledge sharing platform for users of CTMS; Act as a coach for incumbent CTMS CoE members and as a mentor for new CTMS DM. Compile CTMS metrics across programs to support analysis and reporting on clinical deliverables/timelines ; Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and/or co-lead of functional initiatives with relevant CTMS componentEEO Statement Novartis is committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve.Minimum requirements Bachelor s degree or equivalent education/degree in life science/healthcare is preferred within minimum 8 years experience in clinical operations and / or clinical systems management 8 years pharmaceutical industry experience working with information management systems, project management systems and/or reporting tools. Strong familiarity with clinical trial and drug development processes. Good knowledge of operational processes in clinical development Demonstrated proficiency in applying principals and procedures for project planning/tracking and clinical trial management Strong understanding of interdependencies of systems used at Novartis and implications on the business processes Excellent skills in MS Office programs (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) required. Knowledge of project reporting tools, preferred.
