Job Description

  • Policies, Procedures and Program The Financial Controller will work with the CFO and other relevant managers to develop, establish and maintain appropriate policies, procedures, programs and controls over incoming and outgoing transactions.
  • Statutory Compliance The Financial Controller will assist the CFO in ensuring the compliance of the Law In Order Group (LIOG) with all relevant regulations, legislation and accounting standards to ensure the smooth running of the LIOG including any internal and external audits.
  • Process and System Improvement The Financial Controller will help the CFO in identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement within the Finance department.
  • These improvements may come via changes to process and paperwork flow, implementation of new modules or changes to existing software.
  • Balance Sheet/Profit and Loss The Financial Controller will be responsible for the preparation of monthly Profit Loss Statement and Balance Sheets of the LIOG together with reconciliation of all Balance Sheet Accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Budgets The Financial Controller will bed responsible for the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecast revision of the LIOF financial projections.
  • Reporting The Financial Controller will take the lead role in the receipt of ad hoc and ongoing reporting requirements from Finance, Administration and other departments. Where necessary, the Financial Controller will liaise with IT/Business Systems to ensure the delivery of these reporting requirements back to business.
  • Supervision of Staff The Financial Controller will have direct responsibility and supervision of the Accounts Payable, Payroll and administrative functions within the Finance Department.

Requirements of the Role

  • CA /CPA qualified.
  • 5+ years experience. .
  • Strong communication and numeric skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of Acts, Regulations and standards relating to financial and management accounting.
  • High level attention to details.
  • Demonstrated high level of organisational skills.
  • Ability to wok to deadlines and under pressure.
  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office products, advance user of excel (including Pivot Table and Vlookup) .
  • Please Note - CA Qualification Mandatory, CA Post Qualification 5 Years Experience.
