Job Description

    Job DescriptionAbout The role:As a Front-end Lead, you will be responsible for implementing visual elements that users see and interactwithin a web application, which makes your role crucial for the success of our business. The candidate isrequired to work in teams alongside Back End Developers, Graphic Designers, User Experience Designers andother stakeholders to ensure all elements of web creation are consistent. This requires excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills.Roles and Responsibilities: Design front-end architecture with architectural guidelines in mind (secure, high-performing, scalable,extensible, flexible, simple). Architect, Design and develop front-end applications. Turn business requirements into technical designs. Turn style guides into front-end frameworks and coding standards. Decipher information architecture and visual designs and turn them into front-end code.Develop front-end code that integrates with back-end interfaces. Architect, develop, and test for cross-browser and cross-platform applications. Lead frontend technical development efforts independently, define software architecture, exploreexisting systems, determine areas of complexity and potential risks to successful implementation ofadvanced visualization products. Collaborate with various cross functional teams like design, product management and backend architectsand development teams to validate prototypes and to create elegant, usable, responsive and interactiveinterfaces which meets client requirements. Translate wireframes into functional requirements, write well-abstracted, reusable, high-performancecode for UI components. Suggest continuous improvements in user interface, software architecture or new technologies.Skills and Qualifications Required: Proven work experience of 5 or more years as a Front-end Lead Good experience with HTML, Bootstrap, JavaScript, CSS and jQuery Good experience with browser testing and debugging Good experience developing UI layouts with Bootstrap, and the CSS GRID system Familiarity with Java, JSP, Design Patterns and Eclipse (Will be a plus), responsive design, single pageapplications. Familiarity with web development processes (design, development and deployment). Build a highly scalable product right from scratch. Expertise in caching, minification, bundling techniques to improve front end performance. Experience in working with AB Test frameworks such as Optimizely. Experience in using front end monitoring tools to troubleshoot errors and recognise performancebottlenecks. Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and coding. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Bitbucket, Git), working experience with Agilemethodology and fast iterative development cycles and tools (Jira) Adhering to defined coding standards and best practices An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environmentExcellent analytical and multitasking skills Bachelors degree preferred and/or equivalent technology related experience, coursework orcertificationsWork Shift:U.K. (1:30 PM IST to 10:30 PM IST)Process details :HR Round ( telephonic)/ Technical round/ Discussion with VP of Engineering/Final round
