Job Description

  • Direct project monitoring, control and governance activities (e.g., manage project scope and scope change requests, direct project schedules and budgets, monitor projects for continuous improvement, establish and set cadence for steering committee, project sponsor and project team meetings and status updates)
  • Provide guidance, feedback, coaching and mentoring to project team members and ensure that they receive any necessary training and are deployed effectively
  • Develop and present project communications (including business requirements and strategic messages around change implementation) to key internal and external stakeholders
  • Determine and establish the project approach (e.g., objectives, schedule, resources, roles and responsibilities, budget/CBA) and ensuring the development of the corresponding change plan; request/secure resources and funding identified in project approach
  • Assess and anticipate project issues and risks that may inhibit overall success of a project; develop and implement mitigation strategy and resolutions.
  • Manage project work among different teams and/or locations; manage external relationships with vendors and suppliers.

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-8 years related experience
  • Agile methodology experience as Scrum Master or equivalent role with hands-on day-to-day management being critical.
  • Proficient with Jira or equivalent tools to manage user stories, story point estimation, product backlog, burn down charts, etc.
  • Experience delivering Digital initiatives including web platforms/sites, mobile/tablet app development, third-party cloud product integration.
  • Experience working on Agile projects with globally distributed teams.
  • Financial Services, Investment Banking and/or Wealth Management domain experience.
  • Experience building and managing budget models.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and MS Project
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMI, PMP) desirable
