The candidate should be self- motivated, be able to work using the Microsoft development stack and be well versed in programming concepts such as OOP, Design Patterns, Unit Testing and SOA and have proven experience working with C#, MSSQL etc. The candidate must be able to work under minimal supervision in a highly collaborative environment. Job Responsibilities: Work in an agile development environment Design, develop and deliver software solutions per requirements and committed schedules Develop flexible software solutions that fulfil current and changing requirements Test, debug and add enhancements to existing applications Produce detailed technical specifications based on requirements and design Ability to code review and provide recommendations Required Skills: Minimum 4 years of experience in software development. Strong understanding of Object Oriented and Service Oriented Architectures Solid understanding of C#, .NET Framework Good understanding of relational databases, SQL queries, triggers and stored procedures Excellent English language skills, both written and oral. Good documentation, unit- testing, and debugging skills Good presentation and communication skills Ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing requirements In line with the current latest developments with the Microsoft and Web stacks. Desired Skills: Healthcare experience Experience with NextGen Ambulatory software. Experience with medical IT standards and organizations such as HL7 and HIEs. Strong knowledge of medical terminologies, data models and coding systems. Experience at multiple levels of medical IT integration (Abulatory, Inpatient, HIE, etc.) Bachelor s degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
