Job Description

    Roles and Responsibilities of Accounts Head for Multiple Companies in a Corporate Office.Position Title: Accounts Head for Corporate Office Department: Finance and Accounts Reports To: Managing Director Location: Madhapur, Hyderabad. Employment Type: Full-TimeJob Summary:The Accounts Head for Multiple Companies is responsible for overseeing the financial operations, accounting functions, and financial reporting for a group of companies from the corporate office. This role ensures consistency in financial practices, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the implementation of effective financial controls across all entities.Key Responsibilities:
    1. Financial Reporting and Consolidation:
      • Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for multiple entities in BJR Group.
      • Ensure accurate and timely reporting in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
      • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and performance metrics across companies.
    2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
      • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for each company and consolidate budgets at the corporate level.
      • Work with individual company finance teams to develop realistic and achievable budgets.
      • Monitor budget performance, provide variance analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
    3. Internal Controls and Compliance:
      • Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure integrity and accuracy of financial information across all companies.
      • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
      • Coordinate internal and external audits for multiple entities, addressing findings and implementing improvements.
    4. Accounts Payable and Receivable Management:
      • Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes for all companies to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
      • Manage cash flow, optimize working capital, and ensure sufficient liquidity across entities.
      • Develop and implement standardized processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
    5. Intercompany Transactions:
      • Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions to ensure accurate financial records.
      • Develop and maintain transfer pricing policies in compliance with relevant regulations.
      • Ensure proper documentation and reporting of intercompany transactions.
    6. Financial Systems and Technology:
      • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting software and ERP systems across companies.
      • Ensure data integrity and accuracy through effective system controls and user training.
      • Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to enhance financial processes and reporting.
    7. Team Leadership and Development:
      • Lead and mentor finance teams across multiple entities, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
      • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
      • Promote a continuous improvement mindset within the teams.
    8. Strategic Financial Planning:
      • Work closely with managing director in strategic financial planning and decision-making processes for the group of companies.
      • Provide insights and recommendations on financial strategy, capital allocation, and investment opportunities.
    9. Stakeholder Communication:
      • Serve as the primary point of contact for financial matters between corporate office and individual companies.
      • Communicate financial performance, risks, and opportunities to senior management.
      • Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to the board of directors and other stakeholders.
    Qualifications:
    • Education: Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, CA.
    • Experience: Minimum of 20 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing multiple entities.
    • Skills:
      • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
      • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
      • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
      • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
      • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
