Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Business head for plastics division(pan India)
  • Responsibility for P&L
  • Should have knowledge on processing of pp/hdp/ldp/pet abs etc. in washing line & extruder
  • Division is into recycling of various grades of plastic includes municipal & hazardous
  • Develop circular economy recycling models & execute for plastics
  • The incumbent should have familiarity of plastics production processes
  • Should be responsible for identifying source of generation of recycled plastic materials and plan for procurement
  • Achievement of revenue, direct cost , indirect cost & EBIDTA as per approved business plan
  • Ensuring achievement of best productivity and efficiency from raw material with implementation & adherence of sop to standardize operations
  • Develop positive stake holders relationship with internal customers to ensure category buy-in
  • Responsibility for man-management
  • Building a term across various sites in India
  • Responsibility for operational efficiency, maintenance and cost control measures
  • Develop category strategy for plastic and take responsibility for implementation
  • Manage new product launches and new manufacturing locations
  • Lead vendor management for plastics recyclables across all plants in India
a) New vendor development b) Vendor performance management c) Vendor relationship management d) Capability enhancement
  • Mentor plant procurement team and lead them in material procurement
  • Tends/ forecasting/ market dynamics/ supply- demand analysis/ international commodity trends
