Your responsibilities: Supporting the Creative Director/Art Director/Customer Liaison to establish and maintain a cohesive relationship between clients and the internal design team Interpreting a clients business needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts Development of Digital Promotional Materials across WWF s with specific regulatory requirements Concept Execution Working quickly and efficiently as part of a team with copywriters, customer Liaison, web developers, external agencies and marketing specialists Technical development of digital services/promotional materials (such as iPad based selling aids and applications) supporting the specialty products as Lucentis , Gilenya , Diovan , Exforge and Xolair Scheduling an planning of creative promotional materials in collaboration with the WWF s (mainly iPad and website driven digital assets) Technical development of projects such as mobile applications for patients Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time Estimates the time required to complete the work Working on layouts and art working pages ready for production (digital or traditional media) Developing interactive design Ensure deliverables for quality and accuracy Quality Assurance Proactively maintain expertise in graphic design software packages Proactively updating understanding of multi-channel strategies and challenges Manage and mentor junior graphic designers What you ll bring to the role: To be an integral part of a comprehensive, creative team including creative director, copy writers and account managers responsible for developing outstanding graphics and supporting brand communications and pharma marketing initiatives by creating relevant and engaging content for print and digital media in a style and tone that conforms to specific branding. To take a leading role in all aspects of conceptual graphic design, layout, design production, and general aesthetics for the content. To actively provide a high degree of creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.
Minimum requirements
Desirable requirements: Degree level, BFA preferred. Fluent English (both written and spoken) essential; German, Spanish, French or Japanese a plus Strong Communication and Management Skills Significant work experience as a graphic designer in agency, +3 years graphic designer , significant experience of working in creative brief (from ideation to execution) across complex matrix environments Significant experience of designing marketing material for the Pharmaceutical industry Why consider Novartis 750 million.
