This position is a key role, and the ideal candidate has a blend of technical, hands-on experience with the ability to build, manage and lead an engineering team. The candidate should be knowledgeable in a wide array of cloud and web technologies, with a focus on problem-solving, rather than a particular method or tool kit. The candidate should have demonstrated experience helping build and ship large scale products and services, and should have demonstrated building and growing an engineering team.   • Partner across stakeholders to develop a strategic roadmap for the platform that spans our diverse portfolio.
  • Work with senior leaders and other team members to shape technical strategy and architecture investments.
  • Drive and deliver innovation to make an impact at massive scale
  • Scale up the organization through hiring to support accelerating our mission.
  • Create an inclusive environment that attracts and retains high-performing engineers.
  • Coaching and mentoring team leaders and engineers within the team

  • 15+ years of experience in building and shipping production grade software or services
  • 5+ years of experience of engineering management
  • 5+ years of experience with building cloud or web technologies
  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, related field or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and growing organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience with coaching and mentoring other senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborating with geographically distributed partner teams
