Job Description

A wide - ranging role, providing support to the Group finance function by ensuring accounts are accurate and complete and that all statutory and industry reporting timetables are adhered to.Principal Accountabilities (responsibilities and duties):

  • Assist with timely Group management accounts, budgets, forecasts and KPI tracking, supported by commentary and analysis as required.
  • - Responsible for various month end journals such as capitalisation and amortisation of development costs, share based payments and tax.
  • - Reconcile intercompany balances across the Group.
  • - Analyse finance reporting packs across the Group and help to prepare consolidated financial statements.
  • Responsible for maintaining and improving good accounting practice and internal accounting and control policies and procedures.
  • Support the development and management of the Group Finance Department, including the continual improvement of financial systems and controls.
  • Assist the Group FC to provide ad hoc assistance and technical advice on financial issues to the rest of the Finance Department.
  • Managing the administration of the Group s share option plans.
  • Supporting the Group FC to work with the auditors and tax advisors and produce the financial statements for the Group (interims and year end) and UK entities (year end).
  • Assist with due diligence, acquisition accounting and financial integration of any future acquisitions as required.
