Manage medium/ large sized projects through a complete project lifecycle Oversee the delivery of one or more work streams within a program Oversee the delivery of several small/ medium sized projects Adhere to the PMO project methodology Define Project Charter (e.g. project objectives, scope and deliverables) and validate alignment with business and system strategies Lead reviews of requirements and designs with relevant stakeholders to obtain agreement and sign off Create estimates of effort, costs and timescales for proposed projects and take responsibility for managing against these estimates Assist in prioritization/ phasing of project deliverables Secure and coordinate the necessary resources for a project by working with appropriate line managers including any vendor or third party resources Develop and manage communications plans supporting the project; including but not limited, to status reporting, management of issues and risks Scope/ Change management Orderly close- out of project, including, but not limited to, conducting Sponsor Satisfaction Survey and lessons learnt as appropriate Supervise day- to- day work of project team Lead and motivate staff on the project team Key contributor to the continuous improvement and development of the PMO project methodology Contributor to the ongoing development of the PMO book of business May supervise day- to- day work and coaching of less senior PMO staff members, but will not have a formal staff management roleExperience Required : 3 to 5 years Skills Required : Certification in PMOIdeally an MBA in Finance with Six sigma or ISO Auditor certification and has over 8 years of experience in heading quality of a large organization.
