Job Description

    The position will involve close interaction with development, product, database administrators and support teams. This person will review database designs to ensure that they are optimized for performance, scalability and be a champion in automation. This role will provide second-level support to address any platform wide performance and stability issues.,
    • 7+ years experience in relational cloud based database technologies like Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift preferred with minimum 2+ years of hands on experience architecting cloud native analytical solutions
    • Strong Object oriented programming experience in Python/Java or Scala with experience in open source technologies like Spark, Kafka, Beam
    • Expertise in defining DR strategy, data security, governance and associated automation and tooling.
    • Experience in Snowflake performance tuning, capacity planning, handling cloud spend and utilization is a plus
    • Knowledge of BI tools and integration like Business Objects, Tableau, Looker
    • Familiarity with core managed services from AWS, Azure or GCP and experience building SaaS/PaaS enterprise applications on GCP/AWS or Azure. Should also have deployment experience on any of these platforms.
