Consultant Consultant Job Location: Hyderabad Education qualification: Graduate or semi qualified with 3- 4 years of experience Prior experience: A graduate or semi qualified with requisite years of experience in the field of Accounting and statutorycompliances. Strong hands- on experience and knowledge of accounting standards, payroll and statutory compliance Working knowledge of Direct Tax, Corporate Law, VAT and GST Skills and competencies required: Good communication skills Attention to detail and strong problem solving skills High level skills of using Microsoft Office packages Ability to multi- task Excellent customer service skills Other qualities: Professional and approachable Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure Team player Flexibility in approaching work situations Competent in dealing with difficult situations Scope of work: The incumbent will have to work closely with Principal to execute client and internal assignments. With minimal instruction from seniors, execute compliance assignments like accounting and payroll and undertake basic interaction with clients / regulatory authorities for the ongoing requirements of the projects. Check clients compliance to all laws including Factories Act, Labour Law, PF, ESI, etc. Ensure compliance to TDS payments, VAT & GST, Excise Payments, MCA filing, Income Tax filings, and all forms of returns Undertake tax office representation work especially representation before the Assessment Officer with minimal involvement of seniors, if applicable. Consistently deliver quality client services and take charge of the project area assigned Take ownership for project management and proactively keeping track of outstanding matters, discussing the same with seniors and mobilizing juniors to complete pending tasks. Efficiently manage time to ensure multiple assignments can be delivered efficiently on time.
