Design Specialist - Assistant Manager We are looking for a talented Designer who plays a crucial role in developing materials to drive traffic, engagement and leads that support business development and revenue generation. Reporting to the Lead of Digital Marketing, the Design Specialist role requires a person with stellar creative skills and who is comfortable developing collaterals that will be used in a variety of forums, including email, marketing collateral, websites, social media, video, presentations, and open house materials. Responsibilities

  • Design and create compelling, current, visually appealing print and digital marketing, promotion, and communication materials, following schools brand guidelines.
  • Produce the design and production for product graphics, web logos, social media graphics and banners, static and rich banner ads, email campaigns, and email templates.
  • Work with developers to ensure proper implementation within a web environment and ensure consistency and integrity of the creative vision
  • Work with Lead of Digital Marketing to translate and create marketing requirements into compelling, appropriate campaigns and designs.
  • Assists with the oversight and maintenance of school branded web and print templates.
  • Uses standard tools and best practices to check web pages for validity and accessibility compliance and corrects or refers problems as necessary.
  • Ensure consistency of brand and creative across digital customer touch points.
  • Provide design support to other business lines to create product graphics, logos, identity design, or other similar offline graphics
    • Skills and Qualifications
      • Programming languages Designers must be adept at using various language to design web pages and applications, such as HTML 5, Bootstrap and CSS
      • Adobe Creative Suite software from Dreamweaver to Photoshop, digital designers should be adept at the various Adobe software that would help them in web development and design
      • Minimum 3 years of successful agency or in - house corporate design experience preferred
      • Strong skills in all types of writing and editing, including producing digital and print content
      • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel PowerPoint required), web content management systems and Sales Force; proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite optional
      • Capacity to multi - task, prioritize and move between multiple projects and deliverables, and manage time and projects appropriately
      • Skilled at communicating with individuals at multiple levels of an organization
      • Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment
