  1. Ability to lead the DB Team of multiple DB Technologies
  2. Ability to configure, troubleshoot and maintain oracle RAC and other HA Solutions
  3. Expertise in configuring, scheduling DB Backups via RMAN and other backup strategies
  4. Expertise in Providing Performance Tuning Solutions and resolving issues
  5. Expertise in applying PSU, Bundle patches, and bug fixes periodically.
  6. Having understanding in SOX and Security Controls
  7. Knowledge on Oracle Golden Gate
  8. Ability to configure monitoring solution using OEM
  9. Knowledge on Scripting to configure Alerts / Jobs
  10. Understanding of MS SQL /Sybase Architecture.
  11. Understanding of the underlying operating system
  12. Knowledge of the physical database design, installation, migration and troubleshooting.
  13. Ability to perform both Oracle and operating system monitoring
  14. Expertise of how Oracle acquires and manages resources
  15. Knowledge of Oracle data integrity
  16. Experience in code migration, database change management and data management through the various stages of the development life cycle
  17. Implement and maintain the database design
  18. Create database objects (tables, indexes, etc.)
  19. Assist developers with database activities
  20. Monitor and debug code related issues.
  21. Administers all database objects, including tables, clusters, indexes, views, sequences, packages and procedures.
  22. Assists with impact analysis of any changes made to the database objects.
  23. Troubleshoots with problems regarding the databases, applications and development tools.
  24. Monitor application related jobs and data replication activities
  25. Oracle Certification preferred
  26. Previous largescale databases/datacenter migration experience is preferred
