Job Description

Globex is looking for Strategic Sourcing. Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for participating in decision making with management in the area of purchasing.
  • Primary duties to include, but are not limited to: Projects inventory needs by analyzing past purchasing patterns and supply demand. Monitors competitive pricing of supplies and has authority to negotiate contracts with vendors as needed.
  • Audits services invoices to ensure accuracy (charged according to contract) and works to resolve issues with vendors.
  • Prepares various standardized reports relative to services, licenses, inventory and expenses.
  • Serves as primary contact for outside vendors.
  • Requires BA/BS degree; 1-2 years related experience including purchasing, warehousing, or customer service ; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Requires knowledge of related computer software and databases, basic accounting, and strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
