Job Description

  • 7+ years
  • SAP ABAP & BW experience
STRONG WORKING KNWOLDGE ON ABAP & BW
  • Developing and using BW 3.5 & 7.0 from extractor layer through to reporting layer
  • Good working knowledge of ECC 6.0
  • Exposure to POSDM
  • Comfortable in AIX and DB2 environment Project Life Cycle & Customer Facing
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, consulting and communication skills
  • Proven ability to engage with internal customers to gather and document business requirements, functional requirements and design and architect solutions
  • Good understanding of retail and business processes
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high quality documentation
  • Good process mapping skills
  • Exposure to project management methodologies and SDLC
  • Ability to explain technical systems, problems & outcomes to non technical staff
  • Strong focus on data integrity between BW and source systems
  • Strong focus on performance management and improvement
  • Strong focus on designing and building solutions consistent with our BW architecture Support
  • Strong business support and customer focus experience
  • Detailed experience in the IT change request process - lodgement to implementation
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving software and application issues Team
  • Experience working in a small team-oriented and collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, work to deadlines and multi task under limited supervision
  • Develop BW standards, documentation, policies and methodology
Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills.
