Job Description

IntroductionThe Finance & Admin Business Analyst is essential to the ongoing profitable operations for one of the most globally recognized and respected companies in the world. By overseeing our financial activities, you will enable IBM to continue to bring to market ground-breaking innovations such as Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Solutions, Cloud Infrastructure, and Blockchain technologies, to name a few.Your Role and Responsibilities As a HR Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in managing the coordination, admin and back-end support activities for the client. You will be supporting employee and business needs in delivering outstanding HR services for employees. Your role would need you to provide support on new hire onboarding, employee offboarding, immigration, employee relations, compliance, and reporting and/or other employee lifecycle events. Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to all functions within the HR department.
  • Process a variety of employment related paperwork, including new hire documents, employee status changes, database updates, employee information and other employee data.
  • Organize, maintain and update Employee Files
  • Generate reports as applicable/assigned from the database and address queries
  • Provide excellent employee service and act as a point of contact for employees who have routine questions regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • To have a good understanding of the internal and external policies, procedures, regulations, and compliance related to Human Resources and respond to employee queries.
  • Help in providing standard employment letters and other transactional activities.
  • Support New Hire Orientation and process termination and exit formalities both pre and post exit.
  • Contribute towards any ongoing projects.
  • Handle employee and payroll information and ensure confidentiality and security of information.
  • Process activities related to employee benefits such as enrollment of employee dependents, sharing relevant information with insurance vendor, coordinating with employee and vendor for insurance processing, collecting relevant documentation to process enrolment.
  • Process statutory and non-statutory leave requests from employees on the tool
  • Coordinating planned actions to manage incidents and provide response and service to employee, vendor and client queries
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Bachelor s degree from an accredited institution, or must have reached college level with at least 2 years of prior work experience in a HR Domain
  • Excellent verbal and written English language skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and time-management are essential for this role
  • Demonstrating strong attention to details, follow up and quick responsiveness is imperative for this role
  • Ability to develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders of the organization
  • This position requires working in shifts including the night shift (during training/knowledge transfer activities)
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Experience of working in HR Operations supporting other Asia-Pacific countries e.g India, Philippines as well as US are an added advantage
  • Working knowledge of HR related tools
  • Working knowledge of Workday will be an added advantage
  • Working experience in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word Documents and GSuite
  • Should have experience in dealing with different functions within Human resources
