Job Description

Description:

We are looking for a Human Resources Support Specialist for our Hyderabad location. This position will be responsible for providing support to the HR Business Partner(s) and the HR team while supporting employee and business needs in delivering outstanding HR service for employees. This role also provides an opportunity to learn and build the foundation for a career in HR while also developing important skills and working with various levels of the organization. Support functions include areas such as new hire onboarding, employee offboarding, immigration, employee relations, compliance, and reporting.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Under moderate supervision, provide administrative support to one or more functions within the HR department
  • Under moderate supervision, process a variety of employment- related paperwork, including new hire documents, employee status changes, database updates, employee information and other confidential employee data
  • Under moderate supervision, organize, maintain and update employee personnel files.
  • Generate standard reports from HRIS database, and respond to special information requests. May develop queries and ad- hoc reports
  • Provide excellent customer service and act as a point of contact for employees who have routine questions regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain an understanding of policies, procedures, regulations, and compliance relevant to Human Resources.
  • Help in providing standard letters, system updates and other regular transactional activities
  • Support New Hire Orientation, assist with terminations and related paperwork
  • Help with various projects as requested by the Human Resources Management
  • Handle confidential employee and payroll information and assure confidentiality and security of records and information
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned
  • This position may require overtime; must be available to work additional hours on short notice as determined by workload

Position Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors/ Master s degree in Human Resources or related discipline with a human resources focus preferred

Job- Related Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Human Resources

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service experience responding to inquiries, interacting with employees on a daily basis, maintaining documents, and providing support
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi- task are essential
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, follow- through and responsiveness
  • Ability to develop effective relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Basic knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience working with confidential information while maintaining the highest degree of professionalism and discretion
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of HR software such as Workday, Ceridian, or other
