Job Description

    With 64 manufacturing sites in 26 countries, our aspiration is to become the top manufacturer of innovative and generic medicines in the industry.Position Purpose:Provide HVAC design leadership and lead the customer interface activities for the various sites(large and small molecule) and various technologies like BioPharma & Chem ops technology, Aseptic technology, Solids and Packaging technology. Sound knowledge of designing of HVAC system. Plant room layouts, Equipment layouts, Piping layouts Chilled /Cooling/Hot water piping P & I Diagrams, GA drawings for various equipment. System/Classification/Pressure Zoning for pharmaceutical jobs. Your key responsibilities:Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Design HVAC mechanical equipment to meet manufacturing sites requirements in both large and small projects. Consult on HVAC system and equipment design for a wide range of projects, and work with other engineers, project managers, and construction professionals as needed to create and/or modify design parameters. Develop and be responsible for all aspects of production including Clean Room design, computer modeling, selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, testing, and implementation of products and systems. Analyze HVAC systems and equipment when necessary to find inefficiencies or malfunctions and create solutions to optimize performance and increase the efficiency of operation. Design testing procedures and control equipment to accurately assess products and identify areas that require modification and further testing. Communicate directly with customers to understand project requirements, goals, design specifications, and operational environments in order to evaluate cost, feasibility, and implementation of new HVAC equipment. Create and submit detailed bids that outline costs and timelines for construction or extraction projects in accordance with deadlines. Conceptual & Detail Design of HVAC Systems starting from Area Classification Zoning, Pressure Zoning, AHU Zoning as per discussion with Process Departments & Team HOD. Preparation of Room Design Parameters, Thermal Balance (Heat Load) as per ASHARE & ISHARE Standards. Design of Systems considering the different standards for Clean Rooms from Grade A to Grade D (Such as CGMP, ISO, Chinese GB Code etc.). Review of P&ID, Duct layout & Piping Layout etc. System Selection such as AHU, Dehumidifiers, Humidifiers & Exhaust Blowers. Checking & Approval of the Vendors technical Data Sheet. Preparation of product technical Specification & Approval of the Supplier technical data sheet. Design of fully automated HVAC System & preparing of Functional Design Specification/System Sequence Operation for PLC & BMS Based Automation & Commissioning of automation system for HVAC. Review of Validation Documents & Commissioning & Validation execution of Clean Room & HVAC Systems(Such as DQ, IQ & OQ) in Pharmaceutical Industries as per the required standards. Heat load Calculations based on project specifications and as per ISHRAE / ASHRAE standards. Selection of various equipment/accessories such as AHUs, Exhaust Fans, Blowers etc. Ensure that the Project Coordinators coordinate between external client, site, office, and sub-contractors. Working with the customer to define scope of project, creating functional specifications. Approving of the technical submittals as per specification, Drawings & Design(Heat Load & RDP) from consultants. Responsibility would be heading the HVAC design team, and leading from conceptual design to basic/detail engineering and then to handover after commissioning & qualification. Strong partner orientation and must have prior experience of being functional representative for the defined group. Will be responsible for handling internal partners like User/QA group and external partners like Design consultant/Vendors. Must have prior experience of leading a continues improvement in various aspects of projects which has led to productivity enhancement. Taking independent decisions on the creation of technical specifications and functional descriptions. Responsibility for the preparation of project assignments. Responsibility for the timely compilation of tender documents. Responsibility for bid analysis. Responsibility for the preparation of technical solutions within the legal framework, internal quality and HSE requirements. Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor, and tasks based on a specific appointment. Other tasks determined during the annual objectives setting process and by KPIs. Implementation of and compliance with all the instructions and requirements for safety at work, environment protection, and property protection. Fluent in English and proficient in local language. Minimum 15 years of hands on projects management and controlling in an international environment. Leadership experience for the management of internal and external resources.
