More information is available at https://www.home.neustar .Job Requisition:R-2586 IDM Tech Manager (Open)Primary Location:HYDERABADIDM Tech ManagerDo you have what it takes to operate in the business of IT security; to be part of the solution that protects, secures, and advances, a firm s security strategies and technologies At Neustar, Identity and Access Management (IDM) professionals develop, design, deliver, and support, powerful and complex solutions that establish the firm s security strategies and technologies for the authoritative access to its enterprise systems and product.Neustar is looking for a skilled individual to work in a highly dynamic environment providing management support for IDM India team and will lead a team of architects and engineers, owning enterprise, customers, and guests identities and access. The position will report to the head of the IDM operations in the US.Heres what youll do:

  • Manage the IDM India team s daily operation, ensure tasks are deliver on time and within the allotted time and resource
  • Supports onboarding of applications to the Identity stack
  • Acts as intermediary and facilitator to help resolve ongoing complex technical issues in the IDM area
  • Act as a resource for policies, procedures and technical issues.
  • Change Management reviews and approvals
  • Lead efforts in reporting and documentation related to IDM activities, including reporting on defined monthly KPIs.
  • Crisis Management
  • Work towards identifying and closing potential security Identity gaps within the organization (SSO, IDM, AM, PAM, Cloud IAM)
  • Authors SOPs as needed or directed
  • Ensure business line service level agreements, service level commitments, operational level agreements are met.
  • Driving process automation
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, and driving high caliber employees
  • Escalation for on-call support responding to incidents and incident bridges
Here s what you ll need to bring with you:
  • 8-10+ years-experience in Identity and Access Management function and 3+ years in a team management role
  • Bachelor s degree or better in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
  • Prior experience with one or more of SailPoint IIQ, ForgeRock OpenAM, OpenDJ and Oracle DSEE
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Directory Architectures, SSO and Multi-Factor Authentication(MFA)
  • Understanding of Identity & Access Management governance including role based access control, access request and certification
  • Must have strong business acumen and ability to work with applications/product and IT teams
  • Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools including Agile, GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, and Splunk
  • Strong knowledge in application on-boarding, access certifications and entitlement management
  • CISSP, CISM, CISA, OSCP, vendor certifications and/or other related certifications, a plus
  • Experience driving and presenting root cause analysis and error correction from operational events to senior management
  • Experience representing your team/technical area to peers, and senior leadership
  • Strong interpersonal skills at all levels of management and ability to motivate employees/teams to apply skills and techniques to solve dynamic problems; excellent teamwork skills
  • Ability to weigh various suggested technical solutions against the original business needs and choose the most cost-effective solution
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong project management skills
  • Self-driven, detail oriented, excellent analytical skills, a strong team player who works well with immediate and extended team, and consistently puts the team above oneself
  • Strong desire to innovate, ability to multitask, sense of ownership, and urgency.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision and keep up with a fast-moving environment via effective prioritization and time management.
Physical and Other Requirements:
  • Travel to U.S. based offices as needed.
  • Experience dealing with internal customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.
  • English language proficiency
