Core Purpose of the Role: We are looking for an experienced immunology / oncology / immuno-oncology scientist to drive pre-clinical drug discovery projects.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for running studies in the areas of Immunology / immuno-oncology or oncology.
• This individual will mostly work closely with his reporting manager and other team members to design and execute experiments
Key Responsibilities:
• Experience of cell culture, primary immune cell-based functional assays such as primary cell activation, proliferation, cytokine measurements, and cellular signaling using appropriate biochemical and pharmacological techniques,
• Sound knowledge of flow-cytometry techniques with hands-on experience is considered a plus.
• Timely production of quality data and accurate record keeping.
• Ability to proficiently use MS Excel and Graph Pad Prism software for data analysis and other statistical analysis.
• should be comfortable as a team player
• Ability to perform meticulous record-keeping and generate scientific reports to support preclinical drug development.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate both oral and written scientific results and conclusions to peers, supervisor, and department teams.
• Understanding and demonstrating responsibility for the safety of self & colleagues by following all safety protocols provided by Syngene
• Adherence to all environment, health, and safety (EHS) policies & standards at all times in the workplace
• Wearing all PPE as required.
• Adherence to all procedures related to Syngene s data integrity policies
• Compliance to Syngene s quality standards at all times.

Experience: Master s in Biotechnology or life sciences or veterinary sciences with special expertise in Immunology or a related field, with 1 to 3 years of work experience. Sound knowledge of immunology, cellular assays, cell culture and flow cytometry is required.
