Job Description

Position : Implementation ConsultantDepartment : Client SolutionsLocation : Hyderabad, IndiaPROCESS BRIEF Working within the Implementations team, you will be working on various custom implementation projects of FactSet s OEMS product. The projects will vary in size and complexity and you will be responsible for one or more of various aspects of the client implementation project lifecycle i.e. Project Management, requirement analysis, testing, configuration, etc. This will involve interfacing and working with internal technical teams and global client facing implementation consultants to understand how a business use case can be implemented (both technical and non- technical). You will responsible for implementing the required solution and quality of its delivery to the client. To achieve these goals, you will be required to understand the products technical architecture, apply project management best practices, strive of high quality delivery and be proficient in trading lifecycle of various asset classes e.g. Equities, Futures, Options, FX, etc. You will be highly successful in this role if you are proactive, responsible, can deal with ambiguity and strive to learn.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Participate in the requirements gathering process throughout the project lifecycle Understand project business and technical requirements to devise and document project and test plans Track project progress and interface with internal development teams for quick turnaround of issue fixes and Work with internal product management teams to define the client s business requirements and product specifications Work with internal development teams to ensure that development is implementing as per requirements Work with Support to deploy and configure various functionalities in UAT and production environments Test planning and testing the deployed functionalities in the client s UAT and PROD environments Understand and document the implementation configurations for assigned project Act as a client advocate internally to create visibility of client needs. Focus activities on the clients business and priorities Work towards standardizing and optimizing the process and workflowsJOB REQUIREMENTS 2- 7 Years of professional experience in the areas of QA, business analysis and/ or project management Experience with securities trading (FX or Fixed Income strongly preferred, other asset classes such as derivatives and equities a plus). Experience with the FIX protocol and its practical application. Experience in project management, project reporting, tracking and follow ups Experience in test planning, test execution and test reporting Hands on experience with SQL and ability to create complex SQL queries. Experience working directly with software engineers/ developers as well as Technical Architects on business requirements. Experience working in an Agile environment Strong analytical, problem solving and conflict resolution skills. Energetic, motivated, service- oriented, and be able to multi task. Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Flexible to new situations, challenges and dealing with ambiguity BA/ BS (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field. HIGHLY DESIRED Experience as a technical business analyst with deep understanding of translating business needs into functional requirements. Experience working with external clients Thorough understanding of financial markets and related technologies. Test automation experience will be an added advantage Understand EMS systems and trading lifecycle of one or more asset classes among EQ,
