Job Description

  • Serve in a leadership capacity, formulating and implementing procedures and systems for database security
  • Manage and drive Guardium tool installation and end to end maintenance and support (27X7)
  • Develop and oversee the development of innovative approaches and solutions to complex problems and issues
  • Oversee the monitoring and responses to security incidents, offering expertise to ensure prompt and effective resolution
  • Provide analysis of and suggested solutions to complex issues, as well as complex conceptual analysis
  • Lead, Mentor and coach security individuals to provide guidance and expertise, promoting continued integration of technological advances to further enhance security
  • End to end service management of Guardium tool
Required Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor s Degree or equivalent experience in Data Management and Security Field
  • 12-16 years of strong experience in data security systems
  • 4+ years of experience in an information security role with strong knowledge of information security concepts
  • 4+ years of direct work experience with one or more security technologies such as Vulnerability Assessment, Guardium upgrades, patching, policy creation/installation
  • 4+ years of direct work experience with Guardium tool
  • Ability to engage in Guardium engineering activities for Product Lifecycle Management, Business Continuity Procedures, Disaster Recovery, High Availability, and Infrastructure Monitoring
  • Ability to ensure Guardium architectural integrity and compliance with Optum, part of the UnitedHealth Group family of businesses, hardware and software infrastructure standards
