Job Description

    As part of Communication and Collaboration Engineering team under GTI, youll play a big part in designing Unified Communication platforms, servers, and networks that make it possible for us to provide best-in-class service to our customers, clients, and businesses around the globe each and every day. In this role, you ll call on your experience designing tailored solutions to understand the requirements of a project, test the performance of the infrastructure, and verify that the requirements have been successfully met. As a team, you and your peers will be responsible for driving results, collecting and analyzing monitoring data in test and production, and managing projects to completion. And while youll be part of a tight-knit team of engineers who share your passion for technology, you ll also gain access to the best minds in the business both as part of the JPMorgan Chase & Co. global technology community, and through our partnerships with some of the most important technology firms in the world.This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
    • BS/B. Tech/Equivalent degree with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience.
    • Proficient knowledge in the following key areas: Unified Communications Architecture and Designing (Solutions, performance testing, monitoring, operations), Hardware Benchmarking (program management, network management), Design (compliance, security), Network Engineering (planning, provision).
    • Deep Domain knowledge and hands-on experience on protocols such as SIP, H.26x, WebRTC, SIPRec, Networking Routing Protocols, etc.
    • Expert Domain Knowledge in VoIP and PBX, CUCM, Ribbon SBC would be added advantage.
    • Intermediate understanding of line of business technology drivers and their impact on architecture design.
    • Hands-on experience on Scripting and programming skills such as bash script, python, Linux would be an added advantage.
    • Working knowledge on Monitoring and Instrumentation Tools such as Splunk, Netcool, Sevone, Nectar, empirix.
    • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
    • Experience in a large global enterprise using Agile methodology in a fast-paced environment supporting telephony technology on virtual and cloud server platforms.
    • Basic to intermediate knowledge on ITIL, DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering methods and/or hands on experience.
    • Ability to think creatively to deliver solutions through continuous improvement.
    • Flexible timings and ability to independently and diligently work to meet fast deadlines and Organizational demands and needs.
