Innovation Senior Manager, GDD India Job Description Your responsibilities: Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Structure, mobilize and lead the delivery of significant, complex programs or transformations that span across functions, especially related to data science projects. Be the liaison between senior management, CDO organizations and IT organizations when it comes to the DS projects for GDD. Maintain relationship and ensure smooth governance. Foster innovative ideas generation across functions, and turn the most successful ones into practical pilots and projects with senior level sponsorship. Facilitate discussions, surveys, focus groups, and workshops to articulate data and digital vision, understand stakeholder needs, and gather input for data- science projects within GDD. Facilitate a constant dialogue of business challenges and opportunities into concrete executable opportunities to the external innovation community, in particular startups, as well as translate external innovation opportunities into tangible solutions that business stakeholders are able to understand and embrace. Design, develop & execute the requirements to build the analytical algorithms, techniques, and statistical / Data Science methods to address and then solve significant business problems. Lead the implementation of major innovation initiatives, including establishing and ensuring strong program governance and process management as a part of GDD Innovation team and its business partners. Collaborate with senior leaders, internal and external stakeholders to support effective program planning and execution. Identify new innovation opportunities develop proposals and scopes of work as required. Provide high quality communication strategy and materials that support executive updates, enable cross- functional dialogue, and lead to decisive action. Leverage external partners to stay current with and build capabilities using new technologies and methodologies including data and text mining, machine learning, natural language processing and advanced visualizations. Manage external partnerships - contractors and third party technology vendors. Minimum requirements Master s Degree / PhD with 5+ years experience in Data Science, Digital, Innovation space Fluent English (oral and written) Program Management / Project Management experience. Demonstrated success in implementing new emerging technologies. Extensive experience with various data science and analytical methodologies. Conceptual knowledge of digital, information technologies and methodologies Familiarity with design thinking concepts, user research, user- centered design principles, process transformation, and data analytics Proven experience in creating and/ or managing digital products requiring align- ment across multiple teams and stakeholders Demonstrated ability working with data sets and data management. Demonstrated strong problem solving and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence effectively with all levels of the organization (verbal, written and presentation skills).,
