This position designs and develops solutions that drive business performance across the enterprise and will focus primarily on supporting the Merchant, Inventory Management and Space Planning business units.Job Role & ResponsibilitiesWorks with project teams to conduct training needs within the assigned populationWorks with project teams to identify and describe characteristics of the assigned populationCreates design documents that specify learning objectives, learning strategies, learning materials, design specifications, measures of student learning, and learning impact (i.e., business results)Designs and develops materials to support both facilitators and participants in various delivery channels, taking account of adult learning principles, including design of eLearning solutions using interactive online learning models and taking account of adult learning principles to deliver online training in an effective mannerEvaluates the effectiveness of instructional programs by creating evaluation components to track outcomes and ensure alignment with business objectivesSelects and modifies existing instructional materials, as well as develop new instructional materialsOversees consultant and Vendor course design and development efforts as neededPlans and manages instruction design projects using internal or Vendor resources, including accountability for budget, product, and resourcesJob RequirementsBachelors Degree1-2 years of related experience, 3-4 years preferredRequired SkillsTraining and development skillsWorking knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office Suite. Articulate and Storyline are the design tools currently used.Mobile design experience is a huge plus!Instruction design and development skills, including needs analysis, systematic instructional graphic design and visual support, evaluation, and impact assessmentStrong project and time management skills
