Job Description

    Internal Developer Platform (IDP) EngineerNotes:Location : Hyderabad - Hitech City , MadhapurMust have Skills: Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Scripting, CI/CD, Azure Monitoring Tools , GITNotice Period: ImmediateShift: GeneralRoles & Responsibilities:
    • Develop, maintain, and optimizetheInternal Developer Platform (IDP)for the engineering teams, ensuring it is user-friendly, efficient, and scalable.
    • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts, and other developer tools to streamline software development and deployment processes.
    • Work with development teamsto understand their needs and incorporate features into the platform that enhance productivity and ease of use.
    • Integrate and configure various tools(version control, testing frameworks, monitoring) within the IDP to provide a comprehensive developer experience.
    • Implement and automate platform securitymeasures, including access controls, secret management, and vulnerability scanning.
    • Monitor platform performanceand provide support to developers in troubleshooting and resolving issues.
    • Ensure platform scalabilityby optimizing resource usage and setting up autoscaling where needed (using Kubernetes, cloud services, etc.).
    • Write and maintain clear documentationfor platform features, workflows, and best practices to empower developers.
    • Collaborate with platform architectsto align on long-term strategy and ensure consistency in platform implementation.
    • Continuously improve platform featuresbased on feedback from internal users, performance metrics, and new technology trends.
    Must-Have Skills:
    • 7 yearsinDevOps,platform engineering, or similar roles.
    • Strong experience inCI/CD pipeline developmentand automation tools likeJenkins,GitLab CI,Azure DevOps, etc.
    • Solid knowledge ofcloud infrastructure(AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience withKubernetesandDocker.
    • Proficiency withInfrastructure as Code (IaC)tools such asTerraform,CloudFormation, orARM Templates.
    • Experience withversion control systems(e.g., Git) andbranching strategies.
    • Familiarity withautomation toolsfor environment provisioning, configuration management (e.g.,Ansible,Puppet,Chef).
    • Strong scripting skills in languages likePython,Shell,Bash, orPowerShellfor automation tasks.
    • Experience implementing and maintainingplatform securitymeasures, includingIAM,secrets management, and vulnerability scanning.
    • Ability totroubleshootplatform issues and provide effective solutions for internal teams.
    • Familiarity withmonitoring tools(Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights)
    • Collaboration and communication skillsto work closely with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders.
    Nice-to-Have Skills:
    • Familiarity withserverless platformslikeAWS LambdaorAzure Functions.
    • Experience inmonitoring and observabilitytools (e.g.,Prometheus,Grafana,Elasticsearch).
    • Exposure toevent-driven architecturesandmessage queues(e.g.,Kafka,RabbitMQ).
    • Experience withmulti-cloud environmentsandhybrid cloud setups.
    • Familiarity withmicroservices architectureand API management tools.
    • Understanding ofSite Reliability Engineering (SRE)practices for operational excellence and uptime.
    • Exposure todeveloper experience (DX)tools, includingself-service portalsandonboarding automation.
    • Experience in building and maintainingdeveloper portalsorinternal APIsfor ease of use.
    Education:BE/BTech/MCA/ME/MTech/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experienceLocation:Hyderabad
