273746BRIT Practice Excellence leadJob DescriptionAccountable for defining, implementing and maintaining the standards, methods and practices for process and service excellence globally across all NBS IT, driving continuous improvement, measuring and delivering insight on IT performance, and governing IT common processes Accountable to capture, qualify and prioritize the IT specific demand, coming from IT Functions, and to lead the delivery of projects for IT as a business, from initiation to operational handover, aligning with COEs and other IT Functions where needed.1.Design and implement the design of the IT processes that support the ways of working and the approved IT Strategy Lead the design of a fully integrated set of processes to support the Tech Vision of IT, leveraging industry best practices as well as capabilities coming from state of the art tools incl. roles, trainings, interfaces, governance. Lead deployment and transition of the processes in the IT Functions, make sure legacy / local procedures are retired. Lead transformation of target organisations to adopt the new governance, processes, IT tools, roles, governance and interfaces. Lead the definition and adoption of SDLC methodologies and tools. Review, approve and control variants to the agreed processes as needs arise. Escalate non- compliance if resolution not achieved Includes significant change leadership to help orient the organization, counter resistance and effectively adopt 2.Drive common, best practice IT Service Excellence practices across NBS IT Define and manage the standards for service delivery across IT in alignment with the tools and technology- related decisions made by Architecture Review and approve service delivery methods adoption plan by each IT unit, e.g. independent testing. Measure and report progress across NBS IT Develop approach and implement Agile IT practices for change work where speed and agility are critical 3. Govern and advance maturity of IT capabilities (processes) Own and ensure currency of IT processes inventory (50+) Set guidelines and standards required for process management, review, assurance and improvement Manage network of global IT Global Process Owners effective change board for IT processes Drive and track process improvement benchmarked against IT leaders Engage with NBS domains to align on common terminology, process definitions (where possible), and standardizing on underlining tools 4. Measure IT performance against the IT strategy and operational goals Define performance KPIs and metrics for all NBS IT - including IT service management (ITSM), application design/ build/ run service delivery disciplines, portfolio and supplier management processes, TCO model Support development of global IT dashboard - real- time, where feasible, and consumable e.g. on mobile devices 5. Continuous improvement across IT Drive optimization of global IT processes, methods and standards Deliver the Simplification Initiative as per expected time, cost and quality.Integrity of IT operating model clarity, consistency of roles, processes etc., limited variants Productivity generated by operating model implementation Impact of continuous improvement on reducing the cost of poor quality in IT Strength of pipeline and prioritization of performance improvement opportunities Quality of NGSC talent base and alignment to service footprint strategies Customer feedback/ recognition for collaboration and quality of partnering Career progression of talent hired and developed Process effectiveness and efficiency.Minimum requirementsDegree in Information or Computer Science or degree in Life Science discipline with strategic management consulting experience and IT knowledge Business fluent in English (written and spoken) Other languages are an advantage Minimum 15+ years IT experience in a diversity of technical and management roles,
