Job Description

This position is for People Manager (Java) Role.

  • Around 9-10 years of hands on experience in the software development in Java stack that includes Java, J2EE, WebSphere Liberty Profile, Spring, Hibernate, Camel, JSP, JavaScript, REST, writing unit test cases, knowledge of unit test frameworks and Oracle as backend. Knowledge on JQuery, React.JS, Node.JS is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge on Data Analytics, Data Engineering and reporting tools like Tableau.
  • 4+ years of experience in managerial and leadership roles, exceling at motivating, hiring, simplifying and delivering.
  • Understanding of design patterns, principle and Object Oriented Design.
  • Ability to articulate the design with architects and discuss strategy/requirements with teams.
  • Provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration from definition phase through implementation
  • Be self-driven and be able to work in a fast-changing environment,
  • Ability to build credibility with senior engineers and senior management; able to earn and sustain the respect of highly technical professionals.
  • Enable creation of innovative, high quality technological solutions and platforms with larger impact than just the business needs.
  • Provide technical guidance to the team for tactical tech decision making and unblocking.
  • Solid experience in working in high agile environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including communication with executives.
  • Recruit and build high performing teams, motivate and retain the talent.
  • Provides coaching, feedback, developmental opportunities, etc. to directs.

Qualifications:

  • B.E/B.Tech or MCA with around 9-10 years of experience in software development experience using Java, J2EE, WebSphere Liberty Profile, Spring, Hibernate, Camel, JSP, JavaScript, REST and Oracle database are must to have skills. Knowledge on JQuery, React.JS, Node.JS, Backbone and is an added advantage.
  • Must have knowledge on the Data Analytics, Data Engineering and reporting tools like Tableau.
  • 4+ years of experience in managerial and leadership roles, exceling at motivating, hiring, simplifying and delivering.
  • Ability to articulate the design with architects and discuss strategy/requirements with teams.
  • Strong people management experience with the proven ability to lead a high performing team.
  • Creative problem solving skills, debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Be a role model for engineers on the team, providing timely coaching and mentoring to all.
