Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor or Master s in engineering with specialization in Computer Science, IT, Bio-Medical, Bio-Technology, ECE or EEE from a premium institute or equivalent.
  • 15 to 20 years of software development experience, from concept to production. At least 3 years in a Software Technical Lead role and 2 years in a Software Architect role.
  • Expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience in Web Application development with distributed cloud based architecture.
  • Hands-on experience and expert-level knowledge in Web Services, ReST APIs, Single Page Application architectures, cloud security (OpenID/OAuth), containers, microservices
  • Expert-level knowledge in service-oriented architecture, design patterns, technical requirements, and software design & development.
  • Hands-on experience and expert knowledge in J2EE technology stack, especially Spring framework.
  • Good knowledge in JSP technology, JSF technology, JMS API, JAF API, JDBC, Java Persistence, JNDI, J2EE Connector Architecture, JAAS, JAXB, JAXR, SAAJ, JTA, container database, and Microsoft .Net C# technology stack.
JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Experience working for multi-platforms such as Desktop, Web, Mobile and Cloud.
  • Must be well-versed in object-oriented design and concepts, with hands-on experience in Test-Driven development and Behavior-Driven development.
  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript frameworks such as knockout or AngularJS.
  • Hands-on knowledge of MVC, WCF, WPF, JSON, Ajax, HTML 5 and ASP .NET.
  • Expert-level knowledge and experience in SOAP and REST Web Service Development.
  • Expert-level knowledge and experience in SQL Server, MYSQL, Oracle, PL/SQL programming and database design & optimization.
  • Good knowledge of distributed systems, integration technologies (Bluetooth Low Energy, WiFi, Near Real- Time), inter-processor/interconnect schemes and protocols, and network programming (IP, TCP, UDP, etc.).
  • Practical programming experience developing enterprise level software for a commercial product, ideally involving significant capital and medical equipment.
  • Experience leading a software team to design and develop sophisticated software.
  • Experience owning, supervising and delivering concurrent software releases using iterative/agile techniques, ensuring on-time delivery and good quality.
  • Experience integrating codebase(s) with multiple provenance and different features, characteristics, and deployment platforms, including cloud environment.
  • Expert-level knowledge in good design and coding practices, software industry standards, industry software applications, tools, utility frameworks and open source.
  • Experience with build, deployment, and configuration management systems for heterogeneous, multi-platform software.
  • Hands-on Experience with FDA regulated (62304) Software Development required. Expert knowledge of FDA regulations strongly preferred.
  • Must have expert-level skills with software development tools (Configuration Management, Bug Tracking, Source Control etc.) and development process. Experience implementing such systems is a strong plus.
  • Experience working with other technical leads in a complex environment with multiple concurrent projects is a strong plus.
