Job Description

We are looking for an individual who will be responsible for the technical delivery including:

  • Provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing applications within mature technology environments.
  • Utilize mature programming methodologies and languages and adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation.
  • Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution. and understand and comply to Project Life Cycle Methodology in all planning steps.
  • Adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications.
  • Additionally, document the detailed application specifications, translate technical requirements into programmed application modules and develop/Enhance software application modules.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications; identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues; and review and provide feedback to the final user documentation. Support production environments.
  • Mandatory hands-on experience on core Java, Spring and REST services
  • Strong Java, J2EE and Micro services development experience.
  • J2EE & OO Design Patterns
  • Good to UI development (HTML, JavaScript and AngularJS)
  • 5+ years experience in RDBMS(Oracle/MySQL)
  • Good to have knowledge on NoSQL DB Cassandra
  • Strong technical development experience on effectively writing code, code reviews, best practices code refactoring.
  • A delivery focused approach to work and the ability to work without direction
  • Experience with various source control tools like GIT
  • Good to have experience in Splunk, Wily tools
  • Experience in Agile development lifecycle methodology
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills
  • Good understanding of Jenkins CI/CD, Maven or Gradle
  • Ability to deploy apps to Cloud(AWS/Azure)
  • Strong Unit Testing or Selenium experience
  • Experience with containers and container management platforms(Dockers, Kubernetes, etc.,)
