Job Description

Impact analysis, designs, development for complex cross application projects based on the project requirementsReporting relationship:This position will report to Delivery Manager / Senior Delivery ManagerKey Responsibilities:

  • Complete Impact analysis, designs, development for complex cross application projects individually. Being hands-on in the development effort.
  • Verify completeness of input documents and raise questions for requirement clarification, identify technical risks & challenges
  • Handle established SDLC processes and assist in data gathering from the team
  • Perform reviews for work product developed by others
  • Technical Mentoring and coaching of the development team
  • Provide technical support to peers & juniors
  • Recommend changes to improve established development processes
  • Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications
  • Build holistic understanding of applications & underlying domain being supported
  • Knowledge sharing
  • Ensure high quality of products being delivered
  • Participate in cross functional projects & initiatives
Skills (required modern skills are in bold below):Core Java, J2EE, Good OOPs concepts & principles Understanding of MVC framework (like JSF/Struts/Spring) Java persistence framework (like iBATIS/Mybatis/Hibernate), Developing test cases using JUnit, Application server (Websphere/Apache) - Basic configuration IDE (like RAD/Eclipse/Intellij), Markup languages (like XML/JSON), Spring Basic understanding of UML Understanding of Versioning tools & Branching strategies (SVN/GIT), Working knowledge of CI & Build tools like Jenkins, Maven Database Concepts & SQL (using RDBMS like DB2/oracle), Knowledge of SOA and Web Services / API development and testing experience (SOAP and RESTful services). Knowledge of SDLC (like Waterfall, Iterative, Agile, SAFe). Angular JS, experience working in cloud development platforms such as GCP or AWS and building 12 factor apps., Must HaveEducation: Graduate Bachelor s degree (any stream)Other: Specialized knowledge of one or more software programming languages / products or tools.Experience of handling multiple applications , understanding of system workflow, application workflow within the system, interfaces with other systems. High level understanding of business processes performed by system. Sound technical skills, high aptitude, positive attitude, strong inter-personal skills, good experience in estimation methodologies, excellent communication and time management skills required.Competencies:
