Job Description

Job Role:Java Technical Lead (8-12 Years)The Successful candidate must possess 8 - 12 years of hands-on Java / J2EE and web application development experience with good understanding of enterprise architecture and web technologies.   • Gather and verify technical requirements from Product Managers.
  • Able to lead the team & works as individual contributor.
  • Solid understanding of software design principles.
  • Implement high quality code with comprehensive unit testing.
  • Troubleshoot issues raised from production and resolve customer problems.
  • Code review peer developers code and provide constructive feedbacks to ensure consistency and quality of code.
  • Principle experience with all phases of product development lifecycle, including requirements definition, specifications, development, test and product release.
  • Mentor junior engineers, new hires and interns.
  • Participate in hiring process.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
  • 8-12 Years of experience in which min 5 years of proven track record in handling multiple, complex projects/ productreleases and keeping track of details of each project in parallel.
  • Strong Hand- on development experience in Java, J2EE Technologies & Database Designs
  • Should have exposure to object oriented design, Design Patterns and UML.
  • Should have worked in UNIX environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Very good educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering
  • Strong technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies like Core Java (OOPS, Collections, Exceptional handling, Multi-threading), J2EE technologies (JSP, Servlets etc.,).
  • Proven working experience in project management in the information technology sector.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills and team management skills.
