Job Description

    Manual TesterQuick Details:
    • Job Title: Manual Tester
    • Experience: 2 Yrs
    • Job Location: Hyderabad, Banjara hills
    • Skill Set: software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC), testing tools like Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr, to write basic SQL queries for data validation, API testing and tools like Postman (basic level preferred), Experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android, Familiarity with Agile methodologies and processes.
    Role Overview:We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester to ensure the quality and functionality of our applications. The ideal candidate will identify bugs, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement in our software while collaborating closely with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver a seamless user experience.Key Responsibilities:
    • Design, execute, and maintain test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
    • Perform manual testing across multiple platforms, including web, mobile, and desktop applications.
    • Conduct exploratory, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure software quality.
    • Identify, document, and report bugs clearly and concisely using bug-tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or Trello.
    • Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
    • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and prepare detailed test scenarios.
    • Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the usability and functionality of applications.
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test reports.
    • Ensure thorough documentation for each testing cycle.
    • Actively participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and stand-ups.
    • Communicate testing progress and results to team members and stakeholders.
    • Suggest improvements in testing processes, tools, and practices.
    • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in manual testing.
