Job Description

Feature Lead is required to lead the Accelerated automation effort underway by working with diverse stakeholders and drive analysis and engagement, provide technical solution to on boarded contractor resources on project deliverables, coach on bank standards and processes and help remove user story impediments by working with multiple stakeholders. . Incumbent will be required to drive the project backlog and helping stateside leadership define technical direction.

Responsible for working with Java side development either as individual contributor or through a team effort. Works as a guide and sets directions for projects of reasonable complexity and may do technical supervision of some individual contributors. Applies own judgment to independently determine a course of action. Role is capable of finding out new methods and processes to approach complex situations in the respective area(s) of expertise. Expected to continue to build upon domain knowledge and technical proprietary skills to reach levels of expertise, while adapting standard principles.

Responsibilities

  • Incumbent should be knowledgeable in Oracle PLSQL MS SQL. She should have worked in JavaJ2EE project environment and be able to support design and development of Java based applications. She should have working experience with UNIX Shell scripting. Additionally should have exposure to Informatica.
    • Work with stakeholders through solution design discussions.
    • Work with development teams within bank as well as vendor resources and drive deliverables towards project objective
    • Hand on experience working on JIRA and ability to drive project stories and metrics through JIRA board
    • Ability to navigate bank s processes and help resolve project impediments or development team
    • Ability to perform code quality on BitBucket checked-in code to ensure governance and coding standards complianc
    • Interpret business requirements and translate them into design solutions. Ensures delivered solutions are realized in time frame committed. Build strong relationship and influence on team members
    • Actively participate in the requirements, design and construction phases; to lead to successful delivery of the project. Ensures delivered solutions meetperform to technical and functional requirements
    • Ability to Create and maintain system, functional and reference documentation
    • Dedicated, self-driven and willingness to take responsibility and ownership of application

    Requirements

    • Education -B.E. B. Tech M.E. M. Tech B.Sc.M.Sc.BCAMCA (prefer ITCS specialization)
    • Certifications - Agile certified
    • Experience Range - 8 to 10 years

    Mandatory skills

    • 8-10 years of relevant strong experience in executing end to end projects on Java J2EE projects.
    • Expertise on DB (SQL , Oracle) and SQL queries and experience working on Informatica
    • Expertise in ETL solution design
    • Proven experience on Unix shell script
    • Ability and expertise working in AGILE development methodology
    • Be able to face off to senior managementstakeholders in the US and the regions.
    • Ability to work independently and lead project delivery in dynamic environment and drive work traction with remote teams.
