• Electronics & Instrumentation (or) Electrical & Electronics (or) Electronics & Communication with 10-15 years of Experience
• Exhibit leadership skills to manage both technical and team, and drive the team to adopt best-in-class practices.
• Monitor & ensure effectiveness of communication across channels within the team as well as with customer
• Cultivate technical knowledge within the team related to O&G onshore applications in the energy sector
• Identify possible skill-gaps within the team and prepare training plan for the same.
• Conduct/facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to upskill the team in the areas related to project scope, through internal/external trainings.
• Ensure compliance to Quality processes laid out by the organization, and participate in quality audits as necessary.
• Act as the gatekeeper for the all deliverables, by conducting technical review before they are formally delivered to client.
• Participate in meetings technical discussion with the client, as necessary.
• Identify resource requirements and proactively take actions with respect to hiring internal/external talent.
• Ensure timely recording & reporting of KPIs; On time Delivery, First-Time-Acceptance, Effort Index, etc., as necessary.
• Read and interpret Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and impart knowledge to the team.
• Leverage expertise to provide mentorship to the team with regards to creation of following deliverables related to controls deliverables for the detail design scope, not limited to;
  • Control Narratives (must)
  • Functional Logic Diagrams (must)
  • I/O List (must)
  • Alarm List
  • Cause & Effect Diagrams
  • Control Panels including detailed Bill of Material (BOM)
  • Electrical Load List
  • Exposure to at least one DCS, PLC/SCADA system of reputed OEM is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of following deliverables to support instrumentation activities for the same, as necessary:
  • Selection of instruments & JBs
  • P&IDs
  • Instrument list
  • Instrument Data Sheets (ISA format) (must)
  • Instrument Loop Diagrams (must), CBD, JB Wiring diagrams.
  • Thermowell calculations
  • Instrument Datasheets, tagging lists, location & installation diagrams, Hook-ups drawings.
  • Instrument Enclosure Design
  • IEC 61508 & 61511 Standards including SIL allocation, SIL verification, SIS design, risk assessments, etc.
  • Material Take-off (MTO) development including during the proposal phase to develop firm priced material offerings
  • Hazardous Area Classification Maps (ATEX, NEC, IECEx)
  • Electric Heat Tracing Design and Technical Specification development
