You will be expected to have strong communication, relationship building and influencing skills with the various teams you will be helping transform to the SRE model.This role requires a wide variety of qualifications, strengths and capabilities, including:Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Engineering with at least 10 years experience. Master s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, a plusProactive mindset that promotes a customer obsessed, trust based, collaborative, software driven, learning culture with the teams you help transformMust understand Site Reliability Engineering and help guide multiple teams in their SRE, Agile and Development maturity models Establish rapport and collaborative working partnerships vertically and horizontally in a matrixed organization Ability to manage transformation efforts across various levels in the organization - capability to balance between training, coaching & practitioning based on the needs of the individuals, teams, managers and executives in the partner teams Capable of questioning the status quo and provide multiple solutions when faced with challenges Proficient skills for application development in multiple technologies and design techniques Ability to create enablement material from multiple sources, create reports for leadership, strong understanding of metrics and a quantitative management approach Exploratory approach to start work with minimal requirement and ability to coerce towards a common goal Knowledgeable about Agile methodologies with ability to work in a least one of the common framework Basic knowledge of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency and security Proficient in one or more general purpose programming (e.g. Java, C#) and scripting (e.g. Python, PowerShell) languages Proficient with relational database software development with SQL Server and/or Oracle Excellent time management skills to manage changing and sometime conflicting prioritiesDemonstrative experience eliciting requirements from multiple business stakeholders Development background and experience working in any enterprise transformational initiative is a definite plus Must have experience leading / being part of a matured Agile team. Must understand project delivery metrics and how they can be used for reporting and improving team performance At least 5 years hands-on experience in requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support leveraging tools such as: GIT, JIRA, HPSM, Geneos, Jenkins, Selenium, ServiceNow, Splunk, DynaTrace, Autosys, and Control-M At least 5 years hands-on experience architecting, designing and developing solutions for large and complex applications both in Unix/Linux and Windows environments 2 - 5 years hands on experience managing and troubleshooting production issues in a large scale enterprise consisting of distributed and shared infrastructure (greater than 250 servers globally) amid noise Demonstrative knowledge of Windows and Unix/Linux servers, KEON, active directory, group policy Financial Institution experience preferred,
