Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science/ EE or equivalent BS with 8+ years of experience in software design and development is required. MS with 6+ years of experience in software design and development is preferred. Experience in Embedded real-time applications is preferred. Medical device software development experiences a plus. Experience in embedded Linux and real-time applications required Knowledge of OOA&D and familiarity with UML is strongly desired. Experience in hardware/software interfacing and design issues required. Desired experience with Qt, SQLite, Linux Yocto, Security Ability to define, develop and implement automated unit / integration test solutions Experience in regulated industries developing safety critical devices is a must. Familiarity with FDA Quality System Regulations (820.30 design controls), European Regulatory Requirements (ISO 13485), and specifically IEC62304 is preferred. Experience with automated software test tools such as vectorcast/c++ (or) other automation software for software unit and integration testing. Excellent C/C++ programming skills. Embedded system experience is a plus Multi-threaded programming experience. Ability to effectively work with and lead a team and to influence others. Familiarity with object-oriented methodology. Experience with test system architecture, development, deployment, and life-cycle management. High proficiency with managing all aspects of documentation control Experience with change control, requirements management, source code control Flexible in working under changing and different work settings and work in different time zones Medical Device Industry or related experience. Experience working in regulated environments and delivering new products in compliance with global regulatory standards Prior experience leading the development of FDA Class I, II and III Medical Device systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
