Learning Solution Architect Job Description You will have an opportunity to play a key role in learning at Novartis and recommend innovative learning solutions to address business needs. As a Learning Solution Architect, you will determine, design and implement the best ways for our employees to learn new skills and knowledge. A large part of the role will involve driving the right solutions for the end users, deciding how and when to use technology to enhance the learning experience, as well as actively seek out new technology and innovations. The solution architect will repurpose where possible to reduce time to market and cost of solutions. Your responsibilities: Your responsibilities include, but not limited to: Ask questions to clearly understand business drivers and which business KPI s will be impacted. Drive consistency in solution design, leveraging industry leading practices and cutting edge learning innovation. Create engaging and compelling learning solutions that enhance retention and knowledge transfer. Working closely with senior stakeholders and clients from across the business to determine the optimal solutions for their learning and training needs. Work across our learning project teams to direct and provide guidance on the best way to implement the designed solution. Form measureable learning objectives and work with the metrics team on effective metrics strategy. Design, develop and prototype digital learning solutions such as audio, video, simulations, role- plays and games etc. Actively engage IDs in new ways of working and creating innovative learning solutions Work with internal TDD team leads and program managers to provide input into overall team learning strategy and approach. Apply tested Instructional Design theories, practice and methods. Continuously research new innovative learning methods to enhance the learner experience by leveraging leading- edge, technologies to drive engagement with learning. Functional Responsibility to mentor and guide Senior / Instructional designers in the team across locations and manage the project allocation and resourcing for projects closely working with Team Leader / Program Managers Minimum requirements What you ll bring to the role: Learning and Business related degrees of which one should be to Masters level. Instructional Designing Certification from ID9 / ATD Fluent in written and spoken English, other languages an advantage 6+ years experience working in a learning and development environment. 4+ years experience of indirect people management. 4+ years experience developing interactive instructional design with instructional technology. Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models. Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio and video scripts. Solid knowledge of course development software such as Articulate 360 and knowledge of online technology, such as LMS, SharePoint and html platforms. Graphic and visual design skills. Outstanding communication skills, verbal and written. Understanding of Agile methodology and Design Thinking principles is an advantage. Must be a strong collaborator to work across diverse groups.,
