Job Description

Qualifications Minimum qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience 12 years of experience in business application development and/ or IT development with 5 years leading teams. Programming experience in Java, C++, Python, Web Services (RESTful, SOAP), SQL. Experience in multiple full system implementation lifecycles (analyze, design, build, test, implement, support). Preferred qualifications: Experience implementing, customizing and/ or integrating third- party applications within business enterprise software Expertise in enterprise IT Systems (i. e. personal technology, infrastructure, 3 party software integration, access management, inventory, logistics, procurement, AV and telephony, data systems). Ability to present complex techno- functional information in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non- technical audiences. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong analytical skills and a demonstrable bias toward action. About the job At Google, we work at lightning speed. The team identifies time- consuming internal processes and then builds solutions that are reliable and scalable enough to work within the size and scope of the company. You listen to and translate Googler needs into high- level technical specifications, design and develop recommended systems and consult with Google executives to ensure smooth implementation. Whether battling large system processes or leveraging our homegrown suite of Google products for Googlers themselves, you help Googlers work faster and more efficiently. With your technical expertise, you will help your team build business applications, tooling and automation and influence the design of features that improve the reliability of our applications and systems. You will be focussed on creating a unique Googler experience by creating industry leading next gen digital workspace. As a Manager of team of Application engineers, you will play a key role in developing, deploying, and supporting Google s internal business applications. Most times, you ll be tasked with creating custom- built software on the Google stack. When the situation arises, you ll be part of teams that implement vendor sourced enterprise software, configuring that software, customizing it, and integrating with other internal systems. Behind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running. From developing and maintaining our data centers to building the next generation of Google platforms, we make Googles product portfolio possible. Responsibilities Design, build and deploy internal applications to support Googler technology lifecycle, collaboration and spaces, service delivery management, data and business intelligence etc. Work closely with analysts and business process owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Lead your team and build internal solutions, with custom front ends (web, mobile) and backend services that automate business processes. Be a guide and mentor to your team by helping them grow and succeed, and maintain the highest levels of development practices for them. Be well versed in current full stack and/ or web development technologies and integration of third- party products into internal systems. Support and upgrade implemented systems. Build consensus and resolve conflicts among cross- functional teams and influence decision making within senior- level audiences. Partner with internal business teams in developing the systems vision and delivery roadmaps. Location Hyderabad, Telangana, India
