271918BRManager - FIKOJob DescriptionThe Finance Master Data FIKO process expert provides quality services to Novartis Group entities and is responsible for running processes linked to Financial Approvals and Competences (FIKO) used in Novartis. Your responsibilities:Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:The FIKO financial approvals are required to prevent unauthorized transactions from being processed and executed, to detect error prior to execution and to ensure the proper use of funds and limit losses and authorize commitment to third parties. He/ She is aligned to specific data/ master FIKO objects within the Finance processes for all countries within Novartis scope. He/ She plays a crucial role in a global matrix organization by ensuring data is right at the point of entry as well as in identifying and addressing data quality issues and gaps in order to drive continuous improvement. This role supports the FIKO end- to- end processes managed within Novartis Global Service Center (NGSC), ensuring its quality and effectiveness. The role ensures that data validation, data entry, data quality, reporting and analysis are in place and managed in accordance with defined data standards and operating procedures. This includes ensuring all necessary data/ master data is available, accurate and compliant and providing regular and timely reporting to support NBS to enable improved performance, compliance and cost reductionMinimum requirementsWhat you ll bring to the role: University level degree in Business Administration/ Economics/ Finance or IT related fields, MBA Fluent in English both written and spoken, excellent communication skills, other languages are a plus 8- 11 years of relevant experience, with good functional exposure to Finance and controls processes Good knowledge in SAP Back end, especially in Data and Process cockpit as well as SAP data tables Excellent skills in SAP Finance operations/ transactions and interfaces Master data concept knowledge and master data application set up.
