Job Description

Job Purpose (Job Summary): Global Fund Services- Fund Treasury, working in conjunction with professionals in the US and Canada, offers expense administration services primarily in support of Invesco s North American fund businesses including retail mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, and unregistered products. These expense administration services include direct support of fund expense invoice processing and the preparation or review of calculations, analyses and reporting of expense-related information to regulatory organization, fund boards, and other stakeholders. Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Provides direct leadership of fund expense invoice processing including coding allocation, and wire coordination as well as specific assistance with the administration of specific fund obligations including but not limited to Trustee compensation plans and Index licensing fees.
  • Holds accountability for preparation of expense information needed for stakeholders and regulatory filings for all Invesco North American Products such as a Fund s annual SEC registration, including fee table disclosures, as applicable.
  • Performs oversight over TPA fund expense accruals and budgets and ensures timely implementation.
  • Take lead in transitioning various Treasury functions from multiple geographical locations
  • Leave Planning and workload management.
  • Drafting performance expectation of team members and discussions around it.
  • Having one on one discussion with team members to provide regular feedback on their performance.
  • Addressing / escalating performance and people issues.
  • Conducting Performance appraisal of team members
  • Maintaining Skill Metrics of the team members.
  • Monitoring the training and assessment of New Joinees.
  • Monitoring daily work allocation to team members and monitoring them through to timely and accurate completion.
  • Take lead in any system migration / enhancements.
  • Monitoring new processes/functions and changes to existing processes and procedures.
  • Support audit processes performed by internal and external auditors via gathering, organizing, and supporting audit requests and liaising with audit personnel, as appropriate
  • Nominating deserving partners for rewards and recognition.
  • Seamless partnership with various stakeholder groups for driving business goals for various management initiatives and actions such as employee engagement initiatives.
  • Participation in several cross-functional initiatives and groups for identification of collaboration opportunities around innovation and best practices sharing.
  • Undertake analysis, spot checks and review of outstanding volumes, exceptions and approaching process deadlines.
  • Initiate and oversee creation of Macros using Excel.
  • Provide Initiatives to improvise on Control framework, scope of activities and reporting.
Work Experience / Knowledge: Work Experience/ Domain knowledge:
  • 10-12 years of experience in Fund Administration Functions including Fund Treasury services. 5-7 years of people management experience.
  • Expertise in Fund Treasury processes including Budget Accruals and invoice processing
Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:
  • Excellent Verbal and written Communication
  • Good Interpersonal Skills.
  • Good working knowledge of financial / capital markets (e.g., Good understanding of financial instruments, operation of capital markets, knowledge of various financial instruments and their taxability for the income generated etc.)
  • Open to work in shifts
  • Ability to understand the process work flow quickly, identify gaps, new opportunities and suggest improvement using good business judgement.
  • Interpret various data sets establish their corelation over a period of time through analysis and make thoughtful decision.
  • Well equipped with good MS office skills and Sound knowledge of MS Excel/Access. (Pivot, tables, queries ,Macros and other numerous functions/formulae)
  • Must have the ability to handle multitasking, prioritize work, meet deadlines and have attention to details.
  • Strong analytical skills, Open minded, Target oriented and, flexible.
  • Ability to perform in a periodically changing process.
  • Eye for detail and procedure focused to adhere to the Policy guidelines.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritise workload, work effectively and efficiently under pressure.
