That is also the number of people you may impact as our new internal consultant.Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Facilitate the implementation of the Global HSE Strategy by providing technical expertise and support to regional and site management in all Novartis organizations in the EMEA/Asia/Americas region. Site Lead of HSE -Leads the HSE function in a small/medium country or mono platform site, ensuring site compliance with Novartis HSE documents and legal requirements. Collate and verify the site HSE data provided to the global Health Safety and Environment team, timely reporting and escalation of incidents at site level. Support timely and right quality CAPA implementation, management of the risk portfolio. Develop Health, Safety and Environment capabilities in line managers and mentoring to act as point of contact for HSE issues. Provide and maintain site policy, regulations and guidelines to fulfil statutory and Company requirements, budget control capability and provide input into HSE budget preparation and monitoring. Perform regular HSE self-inspection and follow-up activities. Implement HSE Audit follow-up activities within agreed budget and time frame. Plan, develop and implement process safety, risk management and environmental management policies, procedures and protocol.Minimum requirements What you ll bring to the role: Graduate in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering or post graduate Certified HSE auditor from reputed organization or Lead Auditor for ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 system. Experience establishing and maintaining Health Safety and Environment and Business Continuity Management systems that will support and assist line managers to align with local health, safety and environmental legislation and global documents. Experience in implementation and execution of procedures, standards and policies of Health, Safety and Environment, to prevent accidents, disease prevention and protect environmental.Desirable: Strong Operational Excellence, Stakeholder Engagement, Project Excellence, Leading Change.Why consider Novartis 799 million.
